About The Position

As a Data Entry Specialist, your primary duties will include accurately entering and updating large volumes of information into company databases and computer systems. You will be responsible for verifying data for accuracy and completeness, identifying and correcting any errors or inconsistencies. This role involves reviewing source documents for deficiencies and resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. Maintaining the confidentiality and security of all company and client data is crucial. Additionally, you will be involved in generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations. Compliance with data integrity and security policies to ensure data is handled responsibly, and collaboration with team members to ensure company-wide data consistency and quality are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a data entry role or a similar position.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with administrative duties and data management software.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Further computer training or certification is a plus.
