Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing data related to inspection findings to ensure compliance with required processes. Your efforts will support our commitment to maintaining a unified system of records and facilitating informed decision-making. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our data, supporting our mission to deliver superior value to our clients through accurate and reliable quality management practices.

Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation preferred), Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
Demonstrates ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently, effectively, and proactively
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Strong desire to learn with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in data entry or a related role, preferably within a utilities, engineering consulting or quality management environment
Experience with ERP or MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle NetSuite)

Responsibilities

Accurately enter, update, and validate work order data in internal databases and client systems
Review engineering documents, work orders, and field reports for completeness and accuracy before entry
Maintain organized digital records, ensuring data completeness and accuracy
Collaborate with engineers, project coordinators, and external stakeholders to gather missing or incomplete information
Perform routine data audits to identify discrepancies and correct errors.
Adhere to data management protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Track project milestones, deliverables, and status updates to support project managers.
