About The Position

This role supports the functions of a Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy by dispensing medical prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Washington.
- Access to reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.
Responsibilities
- Typing prescription orders and making them available for verification under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
- Assisting the Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensuring the pharmacy remains in compliance with all federal and state requirements.
- Performing various clerical duties related to the department.
- Communicating with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Answering phones, checking out customers, contacting insurance companies, and typing prescriptions.
- Other duties as assigned.
