About The Position

OccuMed has been the area’s leading provider of occupational health services since 1992. Our experienced team of professionals, led by a board-certified occupational medicine physician, strives to continually exceed employers’ expectations. Join our fast-paced occupational clinic and keep the Four States working! This role maintains and builds the database by entering all patient visit information and charging for the services provided daily. It also maintains skills necessary to work as a business office assistant during high volume.

Responsibilities

Release of medical information following OccuMed guidelines.
Schedules patient visits.
Answers phones as clinic volumes dictate.
Liaison for OccuMed clients and patients, including but not limited to ensuring dictation and or other information is faxed/mailed to clients in a timely manner as requested.
Checks patient charts for completion and prepares for Medical Records retention & prepares patient charts for scheduled visits, when applicable.
Accurate and timely data entry of patient visit information and charges.
Responsible for completion of all on-site chart data entry and charges and sending clients the results.
