Crossroads Talent Solutions is seeking a Medical Data Entry Clerk to support the Ohio Army National Guard. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating medical readiness data for service members using government systems. This is a great opportunity for candidates with administrative or data entry experience who are looking to gain experience in a healthcare and government environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in data entry, administrative support, or office work
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage and organize large amounts of data
  • Ability to work onsite in a structured environment
  • Must be able to pass a background check for installation access
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must possess a valid REAL ID–compliant driver’s license or state identification card (required for CAC issuance and base access)
  • Must complete required government training (provided)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or data management
  • Prior military, government, or contractor experience
  • Familiarity with databases or recordkeeping systems

Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain medical data in government databases (e.g., MEDPROS)
  • Review records for accuracy and perform data corrections as needed
  • Generate reports related to medical readiness and compliance
  • Scan, index, and organize medical documentation
  • Ensure all work is completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and privacy guidelines
  • Support medical readiness processing and respond to data inquiries as needed
