About The Position

JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full-time, talented Data Entry Clerk II to work in a unique and dynamic environment. This position supports the 66 FSS/FSH MILITARY & FAMILY READINESS CENTER FRONT DESK/DATA. The scope of this role involves operating data entry devices to input various data points into electronic formats, utilizing web-based applications and Microsoft Office Suite. The position also includes providing reception services, scheduling clients for classes, and maintaining the appearance of the Front Desk area. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including those in a military setting.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak fluent English.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must obtain a favorable, trustworthy determination.
  • Pass pre-employment drug testing.
  • Must be Flexible.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge and capability to operate data entry device(s) to input lists, records, or other data points into an electronic format.
  • Strong working knowledge of web-based applications (Microsoft Edge/Chrome), Microsoft (MS) Office Word, MS Office Excel, and other MS Office Suite Products.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a customer support and business environment.
  • Minimum of 12 months of prior customer service experience.
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a timely manner.
  • Ability to take task direction and training from Government personnel.
  • Basic understanding of military protocol, support group organizations, understanding of family systems in a military setting.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population.
  • Proficiency in applying and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite applications, including MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are required in the professional environment of the M&FRC.
  • One year’s experience working in customer service is required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate data entry device(s) to input lists, records, or other data points into an electronic format.
  • Provide reception services for M&FRC Reception Center visitors/clients.
  • Accomplish customer service and administrative duties as required.
  • Provide data entry into web-based systems, AFFIRST and Department of Defense (DOD) TAP systems.
  • Receive telephone calls, greet visitors, ascertain the nature of the call or visit, and direct clients to the appropriate M&FRC staff member.
  • Raise awareness of M&FRC programs and services.
  • Schedule clients for M&FRC classes and provide complete and clear information that addresses most routine or procedural issues.
  • Input all TAP data and resources in the AFFIRST, including scheduling clients for Transition Assistance Program workshops.
  • Send reminder emails one week prior to class start date unless a different timeline is directed by program managers.
  • Maintain the appearance of the Front Desk and align chairs, materials, publications, and resources daily.
  • Report inoperable equipment to M&FRC management.
  • Conduct minimal vacuuming and dusting furniture to maintain Air Force standard appearances.
  • Ensure all clients completely sign in.
  • Generate a monthly client usage report in the format established by M&FRC management.
