About The Position

The Data Engineering Senior Analyst enables Talent Insights & Analytics by designing, operating, and maintaining reliable data pipelines and analytics platforms, including Databricks, for enterprise reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics across the Talent ecosystem. The role provides hands-on data engineering and platform expertise to ensure data availability, integrity, security, and performance, while partnering with Talent Delivery, IMT, Digital Talent, and reporting teams on business-critical reporting and TIA transformation initiatives. The position supports data engineering and platform operations, system and change management, data security and governance, reporting and analytics delivery, and cross-team collaboration. It analyzes complex requirements, recommends appropriate data sources and transformations, evaluates risks and trade-offs, and supports continuous improvement. The role requires significant data engineering, data operations, or analytics platform support experience, including enterprise Databricks pipeline development and SSIS/SSMS development. A bachelor’s degree in data, technology, engineering, or a related field is required. A master’s or higher professional qualification and active membership in related professional bodies or industry groups are preferred but not required. Flexibility across time zones and occasional travel may be required. The role follows EY’s team-led, leader-enabled hybrid model; for most external, client-serving roles, the expectation is in-person collaboration 40–60% of the time over an engagement, project, or year.
