About The Position
Our client, a financial company, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for its McLean, Virginia or Richmond, Virginia location. The role works with internal customers, data engineers, and the DFS team to identify data needs, document requirements, support data governance and quality activities, and test ETL pipelines. The analyst will also perform core analysis work, including building dashboards and reporting.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with legacy client business teams, data engineers, and the DFS team to determine what data is required.
- Python skills.
- SQL skills.
- Core data analyst responsibilities, including building dashboards and reporting.
- 5–10 years of data analyst experience.
- Glider required.
Responsibilities
- Lead meetings with internal customers to determine data needs.
- Map and document requirements to support engineering partners.
- Perform metadata registration and data governance activities.
- Configure data quality rules and testing.
- Coordinate ETL pipeline testing across multiple areas and validate results.
- Build dashboards and reporting.
