Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, technology, information systems or engineering preferred.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in data, analytics, or platform engineering or related work-related experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience building ETL/ELT dataflows using tools like dbt, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Skilled in working with diverse data sources (structured and unstructured), including delimited, fixed width, databases, and blob storage.
  • Familiarity with APIs or RPA for third-party data collection; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of source control, cloud data storage, and platforms such as Snowflake or Azure preferred.
  • Possesses strong business and technology knowledge to understand business needs, make informed decisions, and deliver effective technology solutions, including related processes and procedures.
  • Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills to efficiently identify issues, determine root causes, and propose and implement effective solutions or improvements.

  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT workflows from multiple sources, enhancing performance and reliability.
  • Implement transformations, aggregations, and custom logic to meet business requirements.
  • Contribute to data modeling efforts, recommending storage solutions and structures that support analytical requirements.
  • Proactively monitor pipelines, perform root cause analysis for performance issues, and implement improvements.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers on best practices in data extraction, transformation, and loading.
