About The Position

Matrix Systems and Technology, Inc. (MSTi) seeks a Data Engineer with approximately four to eight years of relevant experience to develop and support data pipelines and integrations across cloud, relational, and NoSQL environments. The role requires a current Public Trust Clearance; IRS experience and a current MBI clearance are preferred.

MSTi provides IT and engineering services to federal, state and local government, and commercial clients. Its work includes software testing and quality assurance, project management, requirements analysis, implementation support, and IT staff augmentation.

Requirements

• Approximately four to eight years of relevant data engineering experience.
• Current Public Trust Clearance.
• Experience with AWS Glue and Informatica.
• Experience working with MongoDB, Amazon Aurora/RDS, and Oracle.
• Strong SQL, data mapping, and integration skills.
• Experience building and troubleshooting ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate with application developers, analysts, and testing teams.

Nice To Haves

• IRS experience.
• Current MBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Build and support ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue and Informatica.
• Integrate data from MongoDB, Amazon Aurora/RDS, Oracle, and other sources.
• Develop SQL queries and support source-to-target data mapping.
• Validate data accuracy and completeness and investigate processing failures.
• Monitor pipeline reliability and performance and document operating procedures.
