About The Position

Develop and maintain technology infrastructure and processes for data collection, storage, reporting, and analysis.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working in a professional capacity with responsibility for data operations (to include any of the following: data engineering, database management, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data management).
  • Advanced understanding of set theory and proficiency in data design/modeling.
  • Experience with database architecture and data warehouse design.
  • Experience with developing cost-effective data storage strategies.
  • Strong SQL skills including TSQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and table design.
  • Proficiency with data programming languages such as Python.
  • Demonstrated success with data project implementations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts, project managers, cloud architects, data analysts, and auditors.
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains data infrastructure to include databases, data lakes, and data warehouses.
  • Develops and maintains business processes to acquire, transform, store, optimize, and extract data from a wide variety of sources.
  • Adopts methodologies to ensure data quality, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Maintains security and compliance initiatives for data.
  • Documents all processes and technologies for data operations.
  • Participates in and ensures compliance with all data governance activities to include security, privacy, quality, and retention.
  • Works collaboratively with other employees involved in the reporting, analysis, and auditing functions for data.
  • Researches and troubleshoots deviations from normal operations.
  • Provides cost efficiencies related to storage mechanisms and toolsets for data operations.
