About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Alibaba Cloud data services. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms primarily on Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud). You will be instrumental in enabling data-driven decision-making through robust data pipelines and architectures. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, DevOps, and Business units.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud data services.
- Strong SQL and experience with big data technologies.
- Proficiency in Python / Scala / Java for data engineering.
- Experience with distributed systems and data processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and architecture.
- Familiarity with Linux environments (RHEL preferred).
- Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Flink, etc.) and data analytics (Spark, Airflow).
- Knowledge of cloud networking and security on Alicloud.
- Exposure to DevOps practices (Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
