Data Engineer III
About The Position
Develop and maintain the conceptual architecture for data lakes and data marts. Understand client data requirements and translate them into data migration plans. Extract data from systems using automated tools while maintaining data integrity, and migrate it to new systems while optimizing storage and ensuring security. Design and build data visualizations to surface insights from underlying data. Work with a QA team to ensure new systems work as intended and resolve identified bugs. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. is required to work with clients on projects; the frequency depends on client needs. The role uses ETL, SQL, Oracle, Informatica, Teradata, and Power BI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience.
- At least two years of the required experience must include ETL, SQL, Oracle, Informatica, Teradata, and Power BI.
- Ability to travel and/or relocate to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. as required.
