Data Engineer III
About The Position
Develop and maintain the conceptual architecture for data lakes and data marts. Understand client data requirements and translate them into data migration plans. Extract data from systems using automated tools while maintaining data integrity, and migrate the extracted data to new systems while optimizing storage and ensuring security. Design and build data visualizations to surface insights from underlying data. Work with a QA team to ensure new systems work as intended and resolve identified bugs. The role requires travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to work with clients on projects; frequency will be determined by client needs. The position uses ETL, SQL, Oracle, Informatica, Teradata, and PowerBI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience.
- At least two years of the five years of experience must include OETL, SQL, Oracle, Informatica, Teradata, and PowerBI.
- Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. is required; frequency will be determined by client needs.
