About The Position

Deluxe Financial Services, LLC is seeking a Data Driven Marketing Associate in New York, New York. The Data Driven Marketing Associate will engage in data processing and analytics activities for quantitatively-driven insights into marketing campaigns and deliverables for clients. The position will also mine and extract large structured and semi-structured datasets using R and SQL to develop new marketing insights, identifying relevant relationships and trends in the data. Lead analytics workstreams across multiple enterprise financial institutions, covering direct mail and digital marketing programs. Develop scalable reporting infrastructure such as Tableau dashboards, PowerBI scorecards, and automated Excel models used weekly and monthly by senior marketing leaders. Build multi-scenario business cases that inform resource allocation and annual budget decisions for high impact marketing programs. Track historical campaign data and guide campaign strategy by synthesizing historical performance and prioritizing optimization opportunities for upcoming cycles. Manage end to end reporting, responder files, control vs test analysis, KPIs, segmentation reads, and performance projections. Work closely with leadership at financial services firms to design quantitative marketing analyses and reports to drive consumer and business banking marketing and strategy decisions. Develop analytical frameworks and statistical models for clients using statistical tools such as R and Python. Maintain internal marketing databases and repositories to drive analysis using SQL. Assist in managing all data elements within complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns, including targeting analytics, list processing, and modeling. Develop new approaches to innovatively analyze, display, and present data for marketing campaigns to drive adoption and build consensus among stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 4 years (48 months) of experience with all of the following: (a) performing data analysis in the financial services industry; (b) cleaning and preparing large-scale datasets using Python and SQL; (c) providing analytical support to financial institutions across marketing programs; (d) developing dashboards and performance reports using PowerBI and Excel; (e) performing segmentation approaches and multi-source data blending; (e) performing analysis on campaign tests and customer behavior trends; and (f) design and enhance QC processes using QC automation.
