Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 4+ years with experience formatting documents
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of division- and plant-level documentation, including product and raw material specifications, procedures, and related quality records for materials manufactured or purchased by Abbott Nutrition.
  • Creating and managing document change requests.
  • Supporting documentation control processes.
  • Contributing to Quality Assurance projects across the division.
  • Working with minimal supervision, effectively prioritizing and managing workload to meet business needs, deadlines, and organizational priorities while successfully completing both routine responsibilities and special projects in a timely manner.
  • Providing document management support to the Quality Assurance and Global Documentation functions, including word processing, database entry, document distribution, and related administrative services.
  • Utilizing multiple computer systems to efficiently retrieve, maintain, store, and distribute controlled documentation.
  • Initiating and processing Change Requests (CRs) on behalf of functional areas that do not have system access, ensuring compliance with established change control requirements.
  • Leveraging a strong understanding of the change management process to provide guidance and support to employees who are new to the process.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for document formatting standards across a variety of document types, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance while training and mentoring new documentation specialists.
  • Evaluating documentation and related business processes within the scope of responsibility, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
  • Meeting compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
