About The Position

SS&C Advent, a leading provider of innovative software and services for the global investment management industry, is seeking a Data Consultant to join our industry leading Black Diamond Service Team. In this role, you will join a dynamic team as an integral part of the day-to-day process of supporting our clients using our Black Diamond Wealth Platform™ solution. SS&C combines proprietary technology with deep industry expertise to support complex financial and health care operations. Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence. You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a business-related field required
Strong attention to detail
Advanced skills working with Microsoft Excel
Strong project management skills
Self-motivation a must
Great organization skills
Ability to work in a true team environment

Responsibilities

Manage data conversion projects from start to finish while maintaining deadlines and overall client experience
Perform data transformation and audits as part of the ETL (extract, transform and load) process
Work directly with clients to understand needs and ensure the data supports those needs
Work with institutional partners and clients to clearly define conversion requirements and identify appropriate conversion solutions and procedures
Analyze data points provided and ensure proper formatting before loading into Black Diamond
Identify anomalies that may arise during the process and propose a meaningful solution
Understand and communicate effectively results of audits before and after data is loaded
Set appropriate expectations with internal partners as well as client stakeholders
