About The Position

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and programs that ensure the organization's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and leadership skills. They will work closely with all departments to ensure that the organization meets its compliance obligations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent legal and business judgment, critical thinking, and drafting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven success navigating digital marketing regulatory environments is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop processes and monitor compliance related to applicable laws and regulations including, without limitation, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA); state and federal privacy laws; Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) rules and regulations; state unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts and practices (UDAAP) acts, etc.
  • Keep up to date on changes to legislation, regulations, and relevant legal news and advise the Company of regulatory developments.
  • Draft, review and negotiate client and vendor contracts as needed.
  • Directly engage with and assist with management of Company’s outside counsel.
  • Conduct legal research and review Company's litigation strategy pertaining to legal actions.
  • Oversee statutory filings, such as state required licensing forms.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on issues related to website and product development, marketing, and business partnership.
  • Interact with, and respond to inquiries from, state and federal regulators.
  • Manage team of compliance professionals.
