About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tyson Foods creates quality products in a safe environment for its team members, offering competitive pay and great benefits. This facility operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage.

Requirements

Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Willing to push/pull loaded bins with hand jack.
Willing to work in a cold and damp or dry environment.
Willing to perform repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing, and walking.
Good communication and organizational skills.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Responsibilities

Monitoring the audits done in the slicing room.
Conduct timely checks for metal detection, collect samples, label verification and other varying audits as needed within the Slicing Department as deemed necessary by management.
Ensure the process is followed in compliance with product processing procedures and regulations.
Follow all Safety and Food Safety Procedures.
Willing to work overtime as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
