About The Position
Responsible for inspecting and recording the property characteristics of commercial, residential and agricultural properties for (re)valuation purposes. Collects, corrects, updates and maintains property file information. Requires attention to detail and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Mass appraisal data collection training is provided.
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED
- Two years of college and/or five years of general clerical work experience.
- One year of progressively responsible experience in appraisal, building trades, construction and/or homes sales.
- One year residential data collection and property measurement preferred.
- Problem-solving skills
- Spatial ability to read maps and locate physical locations
- Math skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Missouri/Kansas Driver's License
- Reliable transportation and insurance
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screen.
