About The Position

Field Data Collector (Seasonal / Field-Based) Started in 2000, Magnolia River Services, Inc. We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Field Data Collectors to support a project focused on gathering residential infrastructure data across Florida. In this role, you will travel to designated neighborhoods to observe and document property-related features from publicly accessible areas as well as access designated private property areas where customer authorization has been secured by the client. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, being outdoors, and contributing to data-driven projects.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
  • Basic proficiency with smartphones or tablets for data entry
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in field data collection, surveying, inspections, or similar work
  • Familiarity with GPS tools, mapping applications, or mobile data collection platforms
  • Experience working with standardized data collection forms or quality requirements

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned residential areas and collect field data based on defined project requirements
  • Document observable property features using a mobile device or data collection tool
  • Accurately input and submit collected data in a timely manner
  • Follow project guidelines to ensure consistency, completeness and quality of data
  • Communicate progress, issues and any field challenges to the project team
