About The Position

The Student Financial Aid Office is seeking Data Clerks to assist with the data entry needs of the financial aid, scholarships, and student employment areas. General duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Under general supervision, process and disburse incoming documents. File and/or scan documents then shred. Assemble packets for mailings requests for information and miscellaneous mailings to a large student population. Review incoming documents processing confidential information, which includes, but not limited to parent and/or student income, academic progress, financial aid awards, immigration status, etc. Adhere to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines. Retrieving student's information from Workflow in OnBase and logging it on to Banner. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic mathematics, communication skills, and computer skills are required.
• Must be available to work needed hours and maintain professional attitude and appearance.
• Must be able to work in a busy office environment.
• Must be enrolled a minimum of 6 credit hours for Fall and/or Spring semesters.
• Must meet satisfactory academic progress guidelines.
