About The Position

DC Tech 1 Experience with Installation and Deployments. Break/Fix is a plus.
• Move servers and switches to required destination for installation.
• Inspect servers and switches to make sure that they are not damaged in any way.
• Smoke test servers to ensure that server is functioning as intended.
• Install servers and switches and cable it according to provided wire map.
• Make sure that all cables ran are bundled neatly and in accordance with our clients standard.
• Check with network admins to make sure everything is cabled correctly, and all connections are up.
• Install additional components needed (NIC, Drive, Memory).
• Assist in unboxing and prepping servers as needed.
• Auditing of servers and consumables.
• Decommission and removal of any assets required per rack.
