About The Position

Candidates will be responsible for installing fiber/copper, running, pulling, dressing, labeling, racking/stacking, and performing terminations. Testing and troubleshooting experience is preferred. The role involves working in a fast-paced construction/data center environment, requiring the ability to work 12-hour shifts, 6-7 days a week. The schedule includes early access night shifts (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) and will expand to day/night shifts for full access in November. Employees are expected to arrive at a shuttle location by 6:15 AM for transportation to the job site.

Requirements

Data center experience needed
Fiber optic/copper installation experience needed
Experience with fiber/copper testing and troubleshooting is a plus (fluke/OTDR)
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction/data center environment
Need to be able to work 12 hour shifts (night shift for now) 6-7 days a week
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
Drug Test required
BG Check through ORACLE onsite during orientation

Nice To Haves

Testing/troubleshooting experience is preferred
Fiber optic/copper testing and troubleshooting experience is a plus (fluke/OTDR)

Responsibilities

Pull and install fiber optic cabling
Work with backbone fiber including: 288-count fiber, 144-count fiber
Install and connect pre-terminated fiber into cassettes
Cable dressing, labeling, and organization
Terminations fiber/copper
Assist with fiber testing and troubleshooting utilizing: Fluke test equipment, OTDR testing equipment
Follow data center standards and safety procedures
