About The Position

Our Client is seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to support a large-scale data center expansion initiative. This is a unique opportunity for hands-on professionals to step into a leadership and mentorship-focused role while remaining active in day-to-day technical operations. This position plays a key role in developing and onboarding the next generation of data center technicians, supporting both live environments and training labs.

Requirements

3–6 years of hands-on experience in data center or infrastructure environments
Experience working in live/production data centers
Strong skills in server hardware, cabling, rack & stack, and troubleshooting
Prior experience mentoring, training, or leading technicians
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to junior team members

Nice To Haves

Experience in hyperscale or enterprise data centers (Meta, AWS, Google, etc.)
Experience in fiber, low voltage, or structured cabling
Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA, or similar
Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

Support onboarding and development of new data center technicians
Provide coaching and mentorship on best practices, safety, and operations
Assist with server deployments, rack & stack, and hardware troubleshooting
Deliver hands-on technical guidance in both training and production environments
Help set up and maintain lab environments for training exercises
Reinforce data center infrastructure standards (power, cooling, cabling)
Complete documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks
Collaborate with leadership and program managers
