About The Position

Fusion Solutions is looking for a Data Center Tech for the Boston, MA market. This is a one-day 1099 project. The project involves the installation of two sets of A and B power feeds at the Norfolk, MA data center, including installing four total circuit breakers into a Telect DC Panel. The scope includes running and connecting new power feeds using 6AWG power cable and 40 AMP DC Breakers. The technician must bring a small amount of Clear Flame Retardant Heat Shrink. The work will involve connecting new power feeds to specific panel information and leaving excess wire coils on A and B feeds. The total number of hours allowed for this project is 8 hours.

Requirements

Must bring a small amount of Clear Flame Retardant Heat Shrink.
Must agree to 8 hours for the scope of work.
Experience with installing power feeds and circuit breakers in a data center environment.
Knowledge of 6AWG power cable and 40 AMP DC Breakers.
Ability to connect power feeds to specific panel information.
Ability to leave excess wire coils on A and B feeds.

Responsibilities

Installation of (2) sets of A and B power feeds at NFK/MA.
Install (4) Total Circuit Breakers into the Telect DC Panel.
Install 6AWG power cable, 40 AMP DC Breakers.
Run and connect new power feeds (2 sets of #6awg A/B feeds).
Connect CB's to the specified panel information.
Leave a coil of excess Wire on A and B Feeds and return feeds for two separate connections.
Bring a small amount of Clear Flame Retardant Heat Shrink.
