About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking an onsite Data Center Tech L1 in the greater Ashburn, VA area. This is an opportunity to work with a premier Worldwide IT Integration Corporation on a full-time basis! This role involves working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 6am-6pm and every other Wednesday.

Requirements

• Possess positive attitude and strong analytical skills
• Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently without supervision and within a team environment
• Must possess a professional demeanor and the ability to develop effective working relationships with end users and stakeholders
• Must be able to work the provided shift which could change based on the customer's contractual needs

Responsibilities

• Rack and Stack, configuring and connecting new servers or appliances
• Rebooting servers or appliances
• Checking status lights
• Doing inventories and escorts
• Triaging and completing tickets on schedule
• Monitoring, acknowledging, and updating the client's ticketing system in real time using provided documentation
• Completing all customer-provided training without delay
• Attending daily meetings with the client, Lead, or Manager to discuss open or completed tickets
