About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking an onsite Data Center Tech L1 in the greater Norwalk, CT area. This is an opportunity to work with a premier Worldwide IT Integration Corporation on a full-time basis! The shift is Wednesday and Thursday from 6am - 2pm, and Friday and Saturday from 2pm - 6pm, totaling 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $26.50-$27/hr.

Requirements

• Possess positive attitude and strong analytical skills.
• Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently without supervision and within a team environment.
• Must possess a professional demeanor and the ability to develop effective working relationships with end users and stakeholders.
• Must be able to work the provided shift which could change based on the customer's contractual needs.

Responsibilities

• Rack and Stack, configuring and connecting new servers or appliances, rebooting servers or appliances, checking status lights, doing inventories and escorts.
• Triage and complete tickets on schedule, working with the Lead and Manager.
• Monitor, acknowledge, and update the client's ticketing system in real time using provided documentation.
• Complete all customer-provided training without delay.
• Attend daily meetings with the client, Lead, or Manager to discuss open or completed tickets.
