About The Position

The Security Manager provides comprehensive oversight, leadership, and operational control of the site’s security program. The role serves as the primary client interface and ensures alignment with security policies, operational standards, incident escalation protocols, and reporting requirements, while maintaining adherence to SOC 2 and ISO standards. The manager drives accountability, consistency, and high-performance execution across security operations and adapts to changing priorities from the client and Salute leadership.

This is a 100% on-site position at a remote site in Turkey, Texas. The environment includes active construction, heavy equipment, ongoing operations, outdoor work in extreme weather, and an office setting. The site has limited nearby services, uneven terrain, and mandatory PPE requirements in designated construction zones and while operating site vehicles, including UTVs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift, with 10-hour shifts. The manager must be available on-call as needed to support site operations and respond to emergencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of security leadership experience.
• Valid Texas DPS Guard Card.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
• Ability to reliably commute to the on-site location in Turkey, Texas.
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to navigate uneven terrain and active construction areas.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents and emergencies.
• Availability for Monday–Friday day shifts of 10 hours and on-call support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage physical security operations, including access control, surveillance, guarding, and incident response.
• Oversee daily security activities and ensure policies and procedures are followed and continuously improved.
• Design and implement security programs aligned with organizational goals and client requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and site audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and optimize access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and other security technologies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, vendors, and local authorities to support seamless security operations.
• Tailor and enforce standard operating procedures, post orders, and emergency response plans.
• Lead incident management, including investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and company security requirements.
• Manage security vendors and guard force operations, including performance, staffing, and training.
• Lead, coach, and manage the performance of security personnel.
• Plan and conduct emergency preparedness drills, including fire, active-threat, and evacuation drills.
• Maintain detailed security performance and incident documentation, reporting, and metrics.
• Support business continuity and crisis management planning.
• Serve as the primary client interface for the site security program.
