About The Position

The Data Center Outbound Transportation Specialist owns end-to-end outbound transportation execution for data center shipments, managing movement from warehouses through final delivery to customer or integrator locations. Serving as the primary over-the-road (OTR) transportation contact for assigned data center project movements, this role ensures superior on-time performance, continuous shipment visibility, capacity allocation, and swift resolution of transportation exceptions and service recoveries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7 years of prior transportation/logistics experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outbound shipments from warehouses through final delivery, including track-and-trace monitoring, appointment coordination, capacity procurement, and expedited freight management.
• Serve as primary over-the-road contact, escalating carrier performance issues, executing service recovery plans, and managing transportation exceptions proactively.
• Partner closely with internal project teams, warehouse operations, customer service, and external carriers to protect on-time commitments.
• Support carrier performance evaluations, transportation cost and budget initiatives, reporting analytics, and system/network optimization.
