About The Position

As an Outbound Associate in our Distribution Center, you will be trained and responsible for picking, packing, and processing merchandise for the three channels of business: Direct-to-Customer, Store Support, and Wholesale. Each of these are as important as the next. You will fuel the entire enterprise by efficiently handling merchandise with attention to detail while emphasizing operational rigor and inventory excellence.

Requirements

• 6mos-1 year working in a retail or warehouse shipping environment with elevated service levels.
• Comfortable with computers, handheld devices and infrared scanners.
• Basic email and employee portal interfaces.
• Cleanliness as you go.
• Attention to detail in all things, while maintaining above average accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to switch between tasks quickly, eagerness to learn.
• Able to lift packages of 30 pounds or more consistently and work on one's feet all day.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, ability to bounce back from interruptions.
• Comfortable working alone or with the team.
• Reflect the company's aspirations of hopefulness, helpfulness, nimbleness, hospitality, humility, honesty and hard work.
• Recognition of own strengths and weaknesses, and courage to ask for help when needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and process units for orders based on channel
• Attention to detail with required value-added services, Mashburn standards, and Leadership directives.
• Dexterity with handheld scanners
• General understanding of computers, email, and shipping software
• Gift-wrapping during peak seasons
• Supplies organization and putaway
• Help in other tasks as directed
