Data Center Or Central Office Migrations / Audits
About The Position
Our Client's Professional Services organization is supporting Leading Carriers in the Telecommunications industry. They have a project with to assist with Data Center / CO Consolidation efforts. Right now they are doing the cable prep and traffic migrations to exit facilities. They will then be the local smart hands to help prepare the cabling and fiber for the migrations. Using information provided during Audits, this team is responsible for performing circuit grooms and migrations for their carrier customers. The work is Mon-Fri weekly and done during the day unless there's a migration scheduled which is performed during the maintenance window.
Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of what to do and not do in a CO with live traffic.
Responsibilities
- Perform cable prep and traffic migrations to exit facilities.
- Act as local smart hands to prepare cabling and fiber for migrations.
- Perform circuit grooms and migrations for carrier customers using information provided during audits.
