About The Position

The Data Center Expense Analyst resolves a variety of Data Center expense issues within a moderate scope. The role performs general analyses independently and receives detailed instruction on new assignments. It supports Data Center Operations with procurement-to-pay activities, budget and forecast management, reporting, financial problem solving, and finance-related business queries. The analyst works with internal teams, vendors, Accounts Payable, and Finance to deliver accurate and timely financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Requisitions for country or regional expenses within a moderate scope.
• Monitor Purchase Order KPIs and recommend process improvements.
• Resolve Purchase Order problems in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze budgets and commitments for trends, inconsistencies, and process-adherence issues.
• Coordinate and consolidate budget and forecast inputs from Data Center Operations teams, and analyze inputs to help drive forecast adjustments.
• Run and provide commitment-tracking reports to Data Center teams.
• Support Ops Finance with month-end reporting, variance commentary, and the accrual process.
• Generate KPI reports on Operations task completion and accuracy, such as receipting, and provide analysis.
• Recommend process improvements and support implementation efforts.
• Serve as a key contact for Operations finance-administration queries.
• Partner with vendors to resolve moderate queries, working closely with the Accounts Payable team.
• Ensure budget, forecast, and month-end deliverables are timely and accurate.
• Act as a link between the business and Finance to meet commitments.
• Analyze problems and possible solutions within a moderate scope.
• Investigate actual-versus-forecast variances and support development of executive summaries.
• Conduct the month-end accrual process.
• Provide moderate levels of analysis, perform ad hoc duties as required, and escalate complex analytical needs to the FP&A team.
