About The Position

The Data Architect performs dataset collection and exploitation, including assessments and consultations with customers and outside stakeholders. This is a high-visibility position requiring the ability to work independently. The role involves designing and implementing mission internet systems and cloud infrastructure, supporting data exploitation and transfer, producing technical design documentation, and developing AI/ML solutions that answer key intelligence questions. The position is located in Chantilly, Virginia, and requires an active TOP SECRET clearance with polygraph.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience collecting and exploiting data from domestic and foreign social media platforms and mobile apps.
Demonstrated experience architecting, designing, or implementing mission internet systems.
Demonstrated experience configuring AWS and/or Azure networking, security, logging, routing tables, backup and recovery, shared storage, and baselining images.
Demonstrated experience implementing cloud-hosted Android emulation solutions.
Demonstrated experience configuring VPN tunnels between on-premises and cloud environments and between cloud environments, and implementing multi-cloud obfuscation techniques.
Demonstrated experience conducting and documenting infrastructure fingerprinting and briefing technical review boards on identified signatures.
Demonstrated experience producing technical design documentation, such as architecture and network diagrams, for operational use and board approval.
Demonstrated experience analyzing technologies, hardware, and software to determine applicability and need for existing or proposed systems, including security, storage, and network technologies.
Active TOP SECRET clearance with polygraph required.

Demonstrated experience triaging and troubleshooting data transfer issues with enterprise partners.
Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and briefing technical and non-technical audiences to obtain review board approvals.
Demonstrated experience working through the customer's A&A lifecycle, developing security control responses and implementations, and addressing risk elements with project ISSE personnel to maintain ATO status.
Demonstrated experience working with customer managers, technical leads, and project managers to develop system requirements considering desired outcomes, hardware limitations, and sponsor-identified operating requirements.
Demonstrated experience assisting in planning and managing projects involving infrastructure and exploitation platforms.

Responsibilities

Perform dataset collection and exploitation, including assessments and consultations with customers and outside stakeholders.
Architect, design, or implement mission internet systems.
Configure AWS and/or Azure networking, security, logging, routing tables, backup and recovery, shared storage, and baseline images.
Implement cloud-hosted Android emulation solutions.
Configure VPN tunnels between on-premises environments and cloud environments, and between cloud environments; implement multi-cloud obfuscation techniques.
Conduct infrastructure fingerprinting, document the results, and brief technical review boards on identified signatures.
