About The Position

VTG is seeking a qualified Data Architect to support a role in Chantilly. The position involves data modeling and design, building ETL/ELT pipelines, and working with relational and non-relational databases. The estimated starting pay range is $180,000–$230,000 annually. Actual offers may vary based on work experience, education, skill level, market considerations, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling and design.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using multiple languages and frameworks, including Python, Java, and Apache NiFi.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Neo4J.
• Knowledge of SQL.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with multiple cloud platforms, such as Amazon and Oracle.
• Experience designing, implementing, and sustaining ETL pipelines using Apache NiFi.
• AWS Certified Data Engineer certification.
• Oracle Certified Professional certification.
