About The Position

As a Data Annotator on a geospatial and AI project, you will help build digital 3D models of power grids and other critical infrastructure. These models enable energy companies to analyze network conditions, predict risks, and plan maintenance using AI and physics-based simulations. You will reconstruct electrical distribution networks in 3D by combining LiDAR point cloud data, GIS maps, and drone imagery, contributing to the accuracy and reliability of digital twins. The position is fully remote and follows one of two fixed shifts: 09:00–18:00 or 14:00–23:00 EEST. The nine-hour schedule includes a one-hour paid lunch break.

Requirements

  • Strong spatial reasoning and ability to navigate 3D environments.
  • English proficiency at B1 level, including the ability to read instructions, watch training videos, and communicate with teammates.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn from feedback.
  • A PC or laptop with an Intel i7-11800H CPU or equivalent/better, a dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or better; RTX 4060 recommended), and at least 16 GB RAM (32 GB preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of power grids, such as poles, transformers, and wires, or prior experience with LiDAR data.
  • Background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using LiDAR point cloud and GIS map data.
  • Place 3D objects, including poles, lines, and conductors, to match real-world physical layouts.
  • Align original 2D map data with 3D models.
  • Label high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects such as equipment damage or wear.

Benefits

  • Fully remote work.
  • Supportive management with no bureaucracy.
  • Competitive compensation in USD.
  • Opportunities for long-term professional growth.
  • One-hour paid lunch break.
