Job Overview: As the Technical Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute projects within the life science, oil and gas, and restaurant industry, particularly focusing on Enterprise Applications and integrations. Your excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills will be crucial in managing project scope, timelines, and budgets while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and a drive for achieving exceptional results in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant professional experience managing technology projects, with a strong consulting and technical background.
10+ years of overall technology experience, with exposure to Azure projects.
Excellent consulting skills, including critical thinking, analysis, communication, facilitation, and presentation.
Proven ability to manage and lead projects using either waterfall or agile approaches.
Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to removing barriers to progress.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical topics to non-technical audiences.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to client locations, as required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice To Haves

Experience with core enterprise systems, such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Databricks, Synapse, experience, is a plus.
Experience and deeper understanding of innovation and analytics processes, such as data modernization, analytics lifecycle management, and intelligent automation workflows, is a plus.
Enthusiasm for exploring and implementing transformation-enabling technologies, such as machine learning, IoT, cloud, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain diplomacy while commanding authority.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and deliverable quality.
Ambitious, energetic, and committed to continuous learning and growth.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed project estimates, work plans, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with client goals.
Manage day-to-day execution of project tasks.
Schedule and communicate tasks, deadlines, and milestones to all stakeholders and team members.
Continually manage project expectations to ensure successful outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Establish strong working relationships with key client stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
Conduct business user workshops, design reviews, and executive presentations.
Lead senior stakeholder/sponsor meetings and maintain executive presence throughout the project.
Risk Management:
Identify, document, mitigate, escalate, and resolve project risks, issues, and decisions.
Utilize project change management practices to manage scope and client expectations.
Reporting and Communication:
Develop comprehensive weekly status reports and deliver them to project leadership.
Maintain clear and concise communication with internal and external teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Technology Expertise:
Utilize your experience in the industry, with a specific focus on Azure and Application projects, to drive digital innovation.
Project Team Management:
Manage and lead projects using either waterfall or agile approaches with teams ranging from 3 to 20 members.
Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery.
Work on multiple client projects at a time
