Data & Analytics Engineering Intern - Summer 2027
About The Position
The Data & Analytics Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience with data pipelines and analytics processing, working directly with Veeam engineers to deliver enterprise-grade code on a modern data platform. The intern will participate in the full development lifecycle, from design and scoping through implementation, review, and deployment. Veeam's Summer Internship Program is designed for students entering their final year of university and offers a fast-paced, collaborative, and professional environment. Interns receive onboarding from the University Relations team and can participate in weekly professional development sessions, networking events, social activities, and other experiences supporting personal and professional growth. The program runs from June through August 2027. This is a paid internship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; Veeam is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa now or in the future.
Requirements
- Be a rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to learn and ramp up quickly on new technologies.
- Be detail-oriented.
- Be willing to learn about technology.
- Be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Spark.
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Git.
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers on data pipelines and analytics processing.
