About The Position

Own NVIDIA’s workload and market strategy and value proposition for data analytics and data processing on data center CPUs, including Vera, Grace, and future designs. The role connects go-to-market strategy, software and platform architecture, performance measurement, and competitive positioning. It focuses on using practical knowledge of CPU performance to shape product roadmaps, customer evidence, and market positioning. The position covers the lifecycle of analytics benchmarks such as TPC-H and TPC-DS, from methodology and benchmarking architecture through competitive analysis and market positioning. It also translates workload behavior and system considerations into requirements for CPU, platform, and system architecture, and develops quantitative value propositions spanning performance, infrastructure, software licensing, power, and total cost of ownership. The product manager works with external ecosystem partners and strategic customers to validate requirements, develop joint solutions, and equip the field with product decisions and proof points.

Requirements

  • 12 or more years of experience in technical product management, performance engineering, or a closely related area.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive, practical knowledge of CPU and database performance.
  • Understanding of system hardware characteristics that affect analytics performance, including caching and clustering methods, high availability, memory and I/O sensitivity, and architectural trade-offs.
  • Ability to influence platform and architecture teams by translating workload performance into product, platform, and feature requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with external ISVs, silicon vendors, or the broader analytics ecosystem.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with TPC-H, TPC-DS, or comparable data analytics benchmarks, including methodology development and measurement.
  • Understanding of disk, cache, and memory sensitivities of database and analytics workloads at scale.
  • Experience with market entry strategies, solution presentation, or the wider data analytics provider and cloud environment.
  • Background in accelerated computing platforms or data center CPU product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Own the workload and market approach for data analytics and data processing on NVIDIA data center CPUs, identifying priority workloads, customer scenarios, benchmarks, and roadmap proof points.
  • Lead the lifecycle of benchmarks such as TPC-H and TPC-DS, including methodology, cluster and benchmarking architecture, competitive analysis, and market positioning.
  • Translate disk, cache, memory, I/O, clustering, availability, and software behavior into CPU, platform, and system requirements.
  • Advise architecture and platform teams on what to build and why.
  • Build quantitative value propositions covering performance, infrastructure, software licensing, power, and total cost of ownership.
  • Collaborate with external ISVs, database and analytics vendors, cloud providers, and strategic customers to validate requirements and develop joint solutions and go-to-market approaches.
  • Turn benchmark results and customer evidence into product decisions, competitive responses, customer proof points, and field enablement materials.
