About The Position

At Regions, the Data and Analytics Analyst transforms data into meaningful formats for operational and decision-making purposes. Focusing on day-to-day deliverables, the role works with senior analysts and managers to gather and interpret data that helps leaders make data-driven decisions. The position partners with Sales Leadership, Operations, and business stakeholders to develop reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics that support business growth and accountability. It serves as a key resource for CRM data governance, user adoption, data integrity, and ongoing optimization of sales technology platforms. The analyst develops actionable insights from sales performance, pipeline activity, contractor engagement, and business trends, and collaborates across functions to improve processes, automate reporting, and increase visibility into business performance. This full-time position is intended to be onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah. Associates work regular hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week; the manager sets the schedule and in-office expectations. The position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Regions does not provide relocation assistance or sponsor work visas for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Requirements

Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or a related field and two years of experience in a data analytics or related role; or a bachelor's degree in one of these fields and four years of experience in a data analytics or related role.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic and self-motivation.

Nice To Haves

Experience using analytical software such as SQL, SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, and applicable Microsoft Office applications.
Working knowledge of business intelligence software such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience supporting CRM administration, sales reporting, dashboard development, and performance analytics in a sales, sales operations, or revenue operations environment.

Responsibilities

Modify reports to make them valuable, readable, and presentable to stakeholders.
Assist in preparing visual reports and presentations to present analysis to management.
Interpret and analyze data, providing insights to teams and managers to identify operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
Perform data analysis to help achieve data automation.
Create and maintain databases to classify and store information.
Complete day-to-day deliverables and ad hoc data reports to support business needs and projects and answer data-related questions.
Ensure compliance by performing quality data audits, mining, and management.
Monitor data and analytics trends and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.
Partner with the centralized Data Governance team to implement and support data governance and data quality requirements.
Develop reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics with Sales Leadership, Operations, and business stakeholders.
Support CRM data governance, user adoption, data integrity, and ongoing optimization of sales technology platforms.
Analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, contractor engagement, and business trends to develop actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, reporting automation, and ways to enhance visibility into business performance.
May guide junior analysts and ensure they receive appropriate training and tools.
