About The Position

The Data Analyst translates operational, financial and program data into reliable insights to strengthen service delivery, organizational performance and person-centered outcomes at Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services. The role connects data with the realities of integrated, community-based services while the organization modernizes technology and operations, transitions to a new brand and name, and undertakes strategic planning. It requires understanding complex services, funding and reimbursement models, workflows across teams and systems, inconsistent information, and practical improvements to workflows, controls, automation and outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the fractional Chief Information Officer, CEO, Finance, Quality and Program leadership, the analyst develops measures of access, service quality, compliance, productivity, revenue integrity and organizational performance. The role supports the 2030 strategic planning process, executive decision-making and Board oversight, including where systems are not readily integrated. The analyst provides analysis and recommendations; designated operational, financial and technology leaders retain responsibility for decisions and implementation. The position develops and validates dashboards, scorecards and reports; analyzes program performance, workflows, revenue integrity, compliance and outcomes; and prepares decision-ready findings for leaders and the Board. It also supports technology modernization, data quality, reporting standards and organizational capacity to use performance measures. Initial priorities include inventorying systems and workflows, establishing baseline reporting for approved priorities, and implementing an initial monthly enterprise performance scorecard within the first 90–180 days. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is based on-site/hybrid, with a minimum of three days onsite. Salary range: $90,500–$110,000. No visa sponsorship.
