The company is seeking a Remote Data Analyst to join the Product Management Team. This role will utilize analytics technology to create, update, and analyze reports for various business units and processes, with a focus on sales, marketing, and product analysis. The Data Analyst will be responsible for defining report requirements, developing metrics and dashboards, and collaborating with other departments on analytics and data projects.

Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of experience working with large data sets in MS SQL Server Environments
  • BA/BS in IT, marketing, e-commerce, economics, mathematics, or other related degrees
  • Excellent analytical skills: including being able to quality-assure, clean, and analyze large data sets in order to draw conclusions and develop recommendations
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in Tableau
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
  • Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quality-assure, clean, and analyze large data sets
  • Understanding of e-commerce marketing channels

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Access a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities

  • Update, maintain, and analyze all product management and merchandising reports and other department reports as needed.
  • Develop reports and dashboards using data visualization tools, such as Tableau, and data querying languages such as SQL and TSQL.
  • Triage, prioritize, manage, and resolve any data related requests and issues generated to the Product Management department.
  • Discover opportunities for improvement within reporting and product management department processes and act to provide further insight or improvements.
  • Consistently and reliably work with the IT department to maintain databases and keep data clean.
  • Become a liaison between product management requests and the IT department, making sure all requirements from an IT perspective are met.
