About The Position

Under general supervision, the Data Analyst designs and implements processes and solutions for data and text mining and analysis across a wide variety of datasets. The role applies statistical analysis techniques to structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to gain insight into key business problems and support informed business decisions. The analyst uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations for management, while continually building understanding of the business model and available information for analysis. The position also uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, and fact-based management to drive decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or finance; related experience may offset degree requirements, and related education or a degree may offset experience requirements.
• Two years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development, and/or predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in analytics software and applications.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Foundational problem-solving and insight skills.
• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must live within a 50-mile radius of Collierville, Tennessee.
