About The Position

CGI Federal is seeking a Data Analyst/Change Management Analyst to support requirements gathering, Power BI report development, and analysis to enable data driven decision making. This role requires an active Secret security clearance and includes supporting change management activities to drive stakeholder engagement and adoption of reporting solutions and process updates. This position is located in Arlington, VA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, and/or change management support.
  • Hands on experience developing Power BI reports/dashboards (including DAX and Power Query).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with requirements gathering and translating stakeholder needs into reporting specifications.
  • Experience supporting defect resolution (triage, root cause analysis, re test/validation) in a structured process.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and ability to present insights to non technical stakeholders.
  • Active Secret security clearance (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience (e.g., stakeholder engagement, communications, training support, change impact assessments).
  • Experience with IVV activities and test support for BI/reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery (user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement).
  • Experience with enterprise data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure) and/or DevOps/report deployment practices.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, document, and validate requirements for custom Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations aligned to business needs.
  • Translate business questions into measurable KPIs, metrics definitions, and report logic.
  • Perform data validation and reconcile results to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Support Independent Verification & Validation (IVV), user acceptance activities, and ongoing user defect triage/resolution for reporting products.
  • Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., data engineering/ETL) to clarify data availability, refresh schedules, and data quality issues.
  • Support change management activities as needed (e.g., stakeholder communications, training support, change impact inputs) to help drive adoption of reporting changes.
