About The Position

The Data Analyst will support the successful implementation and reporting of grant-funded and direct services programs by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform program performance, outcomes, and continuous improvement. This role works closely with Program Managers, finance, and CHC leadership teams to ensure accurate data tracking, compliance with grant requirements, and timely reporting to business partners and stakeholders. This position reports to the Head of FP&A. Note: This is a Part Time, 10-15 hours, a week temp assignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, public health, economics, social sciences, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of e xperience in data analysis, preferably in a nonprofit, healthcare, or education.
  • Experience working with programs reporting performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and at least one data visualization or analytics tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SharePoint, Microsoft Edge, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with nonprofits (e.g., government, foundation, or healthcare).
  • Familiarity with CRM or case management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Apricot, ETO, Epic).
  • Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA, or similar, depending on program).

Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Analysis Collect, clean, validate , and maintain programmatic and operational data related to deliverables and outcomes.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program performance, trends, and impact.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support internal decision-making and program reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple data sources and systems.
  • Grant Reporting & Compliance Support preparation of required grant reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual), ensuring accuracy and alignment with grant metrics and timelines.
  • Track grant performance indicators, milestones, and outcomes against approved scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with program and finance staff to reconcile data used for narrative and financial reporting.
  • Maintain documentation to support audits, site visits, and funder reviews.
  • Collaboration & Communication Partner with program staff to translate data findings into actionable insights.
  • Provide data support for grant proposals, renewals, and amendments as needed.
  • Present data findings to internal teams and leadership in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Provide guidance and basic training to staff on data collection tools, definitions, and best practices.
  • Systems & Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Develop data standards, definitions, and documentation to promote consistency and sustainability.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
