This role involves collaborating with audit teams to understand their objectives, business processes, data requirements, and reporting needs. The Data Analyst will design and execute data analytics procedures for audit engagements, including control testing, population analysis, exception reporting, and pattern identification. A key part of the role is summarizing analytical results into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The analyst will extract, clean, transform, and analyze data using SQL, Python, or Excel to support audit testing and risk assessments, identifying anomalies, trends, outliers, and risk indicators. The position also includes developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, and building reusable analytics scripts, templates, and reporting assets to improve efficiency and consistency. Additionally, the role will utilize Power Automate for workflow automation, reporting processes, and repeatable analytics activities, and support the continuous improvement of Internal Audit’s data analytics capabilities, tools, and methodologies. Leveraging tools like KNIME or similar platforms for data preparation, analytics workflows, and automation is also expected.
