About The Position

Within PSERS, we are hiring a Data Analyst to partner with internal business partners to develop, deliver, and maintain analytic applications and solutions. Typical analytics responsibilities include use case development and opportunity sizing, experimentation and feature analysis, visualization, and data transformations. In this role, you will engage with internal partners to understand business strategy, questions, and goals. You will adhere to the engagement process structure for business requests, translating requirements into an analytical project approach, and leading projects through completion. You will acquire and compile structured and unstructured data and verify its quality, accuracy, and reasonableness. You will serve as the primary risk and performance liaison for assigned business areas. You will perform analyses of historical data to surface trends and risk insights using advanced analytical methods and validate analytical techniques employed by other analysts. You will prepare and deliver visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement. You will develop, own, and manage recurring analytic or reporting processes. You will proactively expand your knowledge of business and analytics and share it with team members. You will share and document best practices. You will participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVES: THIS POSITION IS FOR ONLY CURRENT HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA RESIDENTS. CANDIDATE'S LINKEDIN NEEDS TO SHOW CURRENT LOCATION.
  • 1ST DAY ONSITE ONBOARDING.

  • Minimum of five years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
