We are committed to working together and to getting everyone home safe every day. Tundra is excited to announce an opportunity for a Data Analyst based out of our Calgary or Winnipeg office. The main responsibility of the Data Analyst is to turn data into clear, trusted insights that help teams across Tundra make better, faster decisions. You will design business‑critical dashboards, define meaningful KPIs, and partner closely with stakeholders to solve real‑world problems using data. This role plays a key part in strengthening Tundra’s analytics capabilities and enabling greater use of data, AI, and self‑service reporting across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Hands‑on experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, or similar
  • Experience defining KPIs, metrics, and datasets that are trusted and consistently used
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (cloud data warehouses, Databricks, or similar)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python or R for analysis is an asset
  • Exposure to AI‑enabled analytics tools is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs that support business priorities and decision‑making
  • Translate complex or ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and clear, actionable insights
  • Partner closely with business teams to understand needs, clarify requirements, and deliver analytics that matter
  • Develop trusted datasets and metric definitions that enable reliable self‑service analytics
  • Coach and support business users in how to access, interpret, and use data with confidence
  • Monitor dashboard usage and performance, continuously improving analytical products based on feedback and adoption
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Data Science, and IT partners to ensure data is accurate, well‑governed, and production‑ready
  • Apply and promote best practices for analytics, documentation, and data quality
  • Leverage AI and analytical tools responsibly to improve efficiency, insight delivery, and productivity
