About The Position

Nexon America is seeking a Data Analyst to provide in-depth data mining and analysis to multiple departments, focusing on understanding players and identifying opportunities to improve the user experience in its games. The analyst will use data exploration, experiments, and analyses to produce actionable insights for internal teams. The role currently follows a hybrid work model, with employees working in the office 2–3 days per week.

The position also offers opportunities to develop projects and skills involving Data Cloud technologies, Data Science models, data storytelling, and AI. Management may add or change duties and job requirements at any time.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, sales analysis, consulting, statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with data extraction and manipulation tools and data mining tools.
• Experience creating data visualizations.
• Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Ability to extract data by writing SQL queries.
• Experience using Tableau or similar business intelligence tools.
• Ability to translate complex data into stories for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent time and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Online gaming experience.
• Master's degree, or a bachelor's degree with equivalent experience.
• Experience using Google Analytics.
• Programming for data analysis using R or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data analyses that generate business insights, including detailed data exploration and validation to understand player behavior and trends.
• Identify key analytic metrics, build interactive data visualizations, and present insights to inform business decisions and support growth.
• Examine and analyze available information to identify strategic patterns and gaps, and recommend courses of action for internal and external users.
• Research and analyze web and game usage data and recommend solutions.
• Analyze user experiences and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to translate business data needs into analysis specifications and validate requirements against strategic goals and project objectives.
• Develop innovative projects and build skills in Data Cloud technologies, Data Science models, data storytelling, and AI.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
