About The Position

The Nanilavut Project Manager is responsible for analyzing completed data sets to identify missing children, cross-reference information for unmarked graves and generate reports for families and stakeholders. This role also supports database improvements and scalability, ensuring the Nanilavut Initiative’s data is actionable and accessible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with data analysis, database management, and report generation.
  • Proficiency in Python or SQL (depending on database access requirements).
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing training, coaching, or knowledge transfer to team members is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated interest in Indigenous history and community projects is preferred.
